Whatcom and Skagit counties are excellent places to see a wide variety of birds of prey. During this free presenta-tion, internationally recognized and respected raptor expert, Bud Anderson, will share stories of his encounters with local species of hawks, eagles and falcons and discuss which species are here and where to see them. He will also describe their characteristics, behavior and some unique aspects of these birds, as well as special encounters he's had with birds far afield from here. This event is open to the public and no registration is required.

Learn to recognize the most common species in our area with raptor biologist, Bud Anderson. This will introduce you to raptor biology, field characteristics, and common behaviors.
