Independent research at the ecology–finance boundary
Falcon Research is an independent research initiative examining how ecological constraints, dependencies and physical-system change transmit into economic performance, financial risk, capital allocation and valuation.
Its principal research programme is E2F — Ecology to Finance — an interdisciplinary framework for tracing ecological conditions through operational and economic pathways into financially decision-relevant consequences.
Research approach
Falcon Research works across environmental science, ecological economics, industrial systems, corporate finance and valuation. Research questions are framed so that evidence can support, qualify or reject a hypothesis; the objective is not to force ecological evidence into a predetermined financial conclusion.
Research outputs
Peer-reviewed journal manuscripts and academic research.
Working papers and preprints where appropriate.
Falcon Research reports and sector studies.
Research notes, methodological updates and evidence-based public insights.
Independence
Falcon Research is being built around intellectual independence, transparent evidence standards and explicit treatment of uncertainty. Research outputs distinguish observed evidence, established scholarly interpretation, E2F inference, hypotheses, assumptions and unresolved evidence gaps.
Falcon Research is led by Pankaj Sharma. Research authorship, affiliations, funding, conflicts and use of research-assistance technologies are disclosed at the level appropriate to each publication.
