Publication programme
Falcon Research develops research at the intersection of ecology, economics and finance, with E2F — Ecology to Finance — as its principal programme. Outputs are separated by publication type so that readers can distinguish peer-reviewed work, preprints, formal Falcon Research studies and shorter public analysis.
Peer-reviewed research
Journal manuscripts are prepared for external peer review and are described by their actual publication status. Submission does not imply acceptance. A first E2F journal manuscript was submitted for peer review in 2026.
Working papers and preprints
Where appropriate, working versions may be distributed through established academic repositories. Repository versions are identified as preprints or working papers and should not be confused with the final version of record published by a journal.
Falcon Research reports
Research reports provide deeper sector, methodological, valuation or policy analysis that may not be structured as an academic journal manuscript but follows Falcon Research's evidence and integrity standards.
Research notes and public insights
Research notes document focused findings, data observations, methodological developments and follow-on questions. Public insights translate research findings for finance, industry, policy and broader audiences without changing the underlying evidentiary status of the research.
Status discipline
Falcon Research distinguishes submitted, under-review, accepted and published work. Citations to journal publications should use the version of record once available, while earlier manuscript versions remain labelled according to their actual status.
