Advanced Raptor ID Class with Bill Clark

Raptor expert, Bill Clark, is returning to western Washington to teach his famous raptor identification course. Designed for intermediate to advanced hawk watchers, the class will be held at the Padilla Bay Breazeale Interpretive Center on February 15, 16, 17, 2019. 

On Friday evening, we meet from 7-9 pm. On Saturday and Sunday mornings, we meet from 7-9 am in the classroom, and then spend the rest of both days in the field with Bill looking at wild raptors.

Bill Clark is one of the world’s leading authorities on raptor identification and taxonomy He is co-author of A Photographic Guide to North American Raptors, and A Field Guide to Hawks of North America, the raptor field guide in the Peterson series.

  • Fri. 2/15: 7-9 pm classroom instruction
